Fb: Hide Those Annoying Game Posts

Your Facebook News feed is you’re main page for keeping in touch with your friends online. But somehow everytime you get on Facebook it’s filled with game announcements. I enjoy playing Mafia War as much as the next guy, but I don’t want to see all my friends actions in my News feed.

Facebook has made it convenient to hide all the clutter and get down to just the necessities.

Step 1

Hover you mouse over the item you wish to hide. A small X will appear in the upper right corner.

Step 2

Click on that X and you will see the post change to something like this.

This first option is to hide the friend. The second hides the game. This is the one you want. Click on it.

Step 3

You should see a confirmation box like this appear:

Clicking the “edit your News Feed options” will let you undo any changes you’ve made. You’ll see a box like this:

Click over to “Applications” and choose “Add to News Feed” to begin seeing posts from that games again.
